PLANNING ADVICE
How much does a Thailand trip cost? Build your budget
Estimate flights, accommodation, meals, transport and activities using your own figures.

There is no single price for everyone
Duration alone does not determine the cost. Party size, season, destinations, accommodation comfort and transfers all matter. Use actual prices for booked flights or hotels. For unbooked items, use a range rather than treating an average as a quote.
Separate individual and shared costs
Flights, admission and many meals are per person, while rooms or private transfers may be shared. Start with: flights + room cost per night × nights + meals per person × people × days + transfers + activities + extras. Check the unit for every amount before adding it.
Choose your accommodation and food preferences
Adjust hotel and restaurant comfort levels in the trip estimate and fill in missing costs. The result helps compare choices, rather than predicting every restaurant bill. Replace estimates with confirmed costs. Consider insurance, luggage, connectivity and a contingency separately.
Review the budget when the route changes
Adding a base can change accommodation, transport and activities. Review the total after major changes and identify remaining estimates. When comparing euros and baht, use a current exchange rate and allow for fees. The platform brings route and estimate together; final booking prices come from the providers.
A calculation example, not a price list
Illustrative example for two people, fifteen days and fourteen nights: total flights €1,600; room €60 × 14 = €840; meals €20 per person per day × 2 × 15 = €600; transfers €300; activities €200; insurance and other extras €160; contingency €250. Total: €3,950 for two, or €1,975 per person. These figures are chosen to explain the calculation, not verified prices or a forecast for your holiday. Replace them with actual quotes. Paying €20 more per room per night adds €280 overall: that comparison is often more useful than simply calling Thailand inexpensive.
